  • Year 3 & 4 Visit to the Roald Dahl Museum

    Fri 01 Dec 2023

Year 3 & 4 Visit to Roald Dahl Museum.

Yesterday was amazing!  I went on a school trip to the Road Dahl Museum in Great Missenden.  I walked quietly to the coach.  I was very excited.  The grass was cold and sprinkled with icy crisp.  I went up the stairs and sat down with Cleo, I was very cold.  Me and Cleo played games on my little notepad and little pen.  When we got there we met Bethany's mum and Aiden's mum, we also met Year 4.  We quickly walked to the Roald Dahl Museum.  At the Wonkers gate we met a lady called Hannah she worked there.  Hann took us to the lunch room and we put our bags and coats off.  The we went to the writing hut (it was fake and copied) and we looked at pictures like the writing hut, and educated us about his characters.  After that we made some characters. After that we got to freely roam around. At 11.30am we went back to the lunch room and had some yummy lunch.  When everyone had finished lunch we went on a walk to places that inspired Roald Dahl like the houses from the BFG.  We went to his grave and got to go inside the church.  Last but not least we walked back to the coach.
