To support children to focus on their learning and be able to fulfil our school’s vision, children are expected to wear school uniform as described below and to remain smart and tidy at all times.
Where Uniform can be bought
Branded Uniform
Branded uniform with our school logo can be purchased from PMG School Wear website, our school uniform supplier https://pmgschoolwear.co.uk
Unbranded Uniform
For uniform that is not branded this can be purchased from local supermarket (e.g. Tesco, ASDA and Sainsbury’s) and high street retailers (e.g. Marks and Spencer's)
Second Hand Uniform
We have a Facebook selling site where parents swap second-hand uniform. You can find the page at “Monks Uniform”. Feel free to post any second-hand uniform or request any items needed. Collection / delivery is then arranged between you and the seller/buyer. Monetary donations are welcome, but not required.

Please read closely the colours that children are expected to wear. Please ensure children are wearing only the items listed with no deviations, for example, children must wear charcoal grey not black.

PE/Games Kit
PE/Games Kit should be worn on PE days to school as this saves time changing and therefore children get longer PE lessons. At the start of the academic year, PE days will be communicated to you and then notice will be provided if the day changes.

Predominantly black trainers & a change of socks

Shin pads are necessary for all children in Year 5 and 6
Hair & Jewellery
Green/green & white or gold or discrete hair coloured clips and green/white/gold or discrete hair coloured smart hair bands.
Shoulder length hair must be tied up.
No extreme haircuts or colours.
No make-up or nail varnish.
Only stud earrings can be worn and they must be able to be removed by the child for swimming/PE lessons(or they may not be allowed to take part)
Every child must have a school book bag to store easily in class.
Swimming
The following classes only - Year 4 Spring and Summer Term, Year 5 Autumn Term, Year 6 Summer Term.
One piece swimsuits - no bikinis, swimming shorts must be tight fitting and above the knee with no pockets (lycra styled).
Swimming hats must be worn and can be purchased from Risborough Springs Swimming Pool if required.
Goggles can be worn if a letter requesting the child to be permitted to wear them has been received from the parents/guardians.
All uniform must be named.
If a child is not wearing our correct uniform, we should be notified by parents/guardians explaining why on the day.
The school reserves the right should notification not be proved to:
1st occasion - send home a reminder letter.
2nd occasion – call parents/guardians to remind them that the uniform needs to be changed.
3rd occasion – call parents/guardians and ask them to bring the correct uniform to school for a child to change into.
As a reminder, children should not be wearing any item of clothing that is not detailed on our current uniform policy. If you are unsure, please contact the admin team to check.
