Extra Curriculum School Clubs

Extra curricular activities are a significant part of school life at Monks Risborough. Children are encouraged to take part in a wide range of clubs before and after school. Monks Risborough is well regarded for providing children with opportunities to compete against children from other schools.  The exceptional musical opportunities extend to children playing instruments on a weekly basis during worship, as well as performing at leading venues around the country, such as the Royal Albert Hall & Wembley Arena.

JR Sports clubs start from 15th January straight after school, Gardening club will will beginning again after Easter, all other school run clubs start from Tuesday 9th January. Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing and a drink depending on the club they are taking part in. Please collect your child promptly, from the Peter's Lane gate at the allocated time. If you have any spare vegetable seeds or seedlings for Gardening club, all donations would be gratefully received. The numbers for this club will be limited so will be allocated on a first come first serve basis .

Tuesday Yr 1 & 2 Gardening Club (starting 16th April)Mrs Waterhouse & Mrs Hollyer finish at 4pm

Tuesday Yr 4, 5 & 6 Netball Club Miss Dawes & Miss Brewer finish 4.15pm

Thursday Rec Yr 1 & 2 Glee/Music & Dance Club Mrs. Hirst finish 4pm

​If you would like to run a lunchtime club please speak to me, we are always grateful to people offering to extend the opportunities provided for your children.
If the club has to be cancelled for any reason we will contact you via our Monks School App/Weduc. It is essential you notify the school office if your child is unable to attend an after school club, on any particular week.  At the end of the club parents are expected to collect their child from the club leader to ensure they have left safely.
