Art - Rangoli Patterns
To celebrate Diwali we have created traditional symmetrical Rangoli patterns, using geometric shapes and colours. We begun by designing them on dotted paper...
We then traced our designs onto tracing paper, to allow us to copy them onto card!
After that, we were able to complete the fun part! We painted with sand! To do this, we carefully put glue on the paper where we wanted that coloured sand, sprinkled it on and then waited for it to dry. Once it was dry we tipped off the excess and were left with our pictures!
Aren't they amazing! We loved designing and creating our own Rangoli patterns
