We have set up a competition in the classroom to decide how many days our helium '21' balloon will stay inflated for!  Hopefully longer than the hot air balloon in our class book (the 21 balloons) which we have just discovered is on its way down!

We have also been looking at words containing the 's' sound spelt 'sc' such as ascend, descend, fascinating, scenes, scented, science and scissors.  

We are moving on to learning how to spell words ending in 'sion' such as 'collision', 'division', 'revision', 'decision' and 'television'.
