Spring 1 How do we travel around our community?
This terms focus is on different types of transport and the people who drive/pilot them.
The books we have looked at are:
Mr Gumpys motor car (cars)
Whatever next (rockets and space)
Don't let the pigeon drive the bus (bus - local area)
The night pirates (boats and pirates)
Emergency (emergency vehicles - people who help us)
I want to be a pilot (planes and things that fly)
In phonics we are reviewing set 2 sounds (RWI) and learning to write words using our 'Fred fingers' for spelling. Some of us are learning about sentences and using finger spaces between words.
