6. France, Europe

Our lead subject is Geography for our France, Europe topic for this half term, where we learning to identify physical and human features of France.

During our studies we willing at maps, globes and understanding the terms longitude and latitude. We will explore the various climates of France and think about where we might like to travel too. We are aiming to answer the question 'How do countries in Europe show friendship?'

We will focus on two books:

A Lion in Paris - by Beatrice Alemagna

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - by C S Lewis.

If you wish to purchase a copy of your own, please feel free to do so.  However, we will have copies in school and please don't read/share these books until we have looked at them in school first... we don't want you to ruin any surprises!
