Our lead subject is Geography for our topic of 'Our Local Area' this half term, where we study the features of our local area and discuss ways in which we can improve and care for our community. We are aiming to answer the question 'How can we respect our community' by the end of our learning journey.

Weeks 1 -3
We have had a busy start to this half term! Our English learning has been centred around creating some tour guides for the shops on Princes Risborough High Street. We started our learning by thinking about different questions we could ask the shopkeepers and how we would then present the answers in a tour guide.
After we had done all of our planning it was time for us to adventure to the high street to actually ask our questions! Everyone had a lovely walk, all of the shop keepers spoke about how polite the children were and how well spoken the children were. We are now writing all of the information into our tour guides and hope to be able to give these to the shops to display.
In Science we have been looking at life cycles. We have been thinking about the life cycles of birds, caterpillars/butterflies and humans. We have been lucky enough to have a collection of butterfly eggs which have now grown into caterpillars which are beginning to form their chrysalis. We will keep you posted on their progress into butterflies!
