On Wednesday 6th April, Year 5 and 6 had a visit from an RNLI education officer. We learnt about the amazing work that the lifeboat crew do in keeping us safe whilst at sea. He showed us the different flags that could be seen at the beach, explained about rip tides and currents and what to do in case of an emergency - float on your back or call 999 and ask for the Coastguard!
Some of us also got to dress up either as a lifeguard, or as a member of the RNLI crew. We had great fun!
