4 Hawks

Welcome to Hawks Class! 

On this page you will find lots of information all about Year 4, what is expected of the children in Hawks class and also some of the beautiful learning they produce.

We have been really impressed with how the children have settled back into their learning this year - they really are flying high in Hawks!

This half term our learning will be based upon the question: 

'Were the Ancient Egyptians friendly people?'

Next term we have lots of fun activities to develop the children's understanding and move their learning forward.

In English we are reading a picture book called 'Cinderella of the Nile' written by Beverley Naidoo. This is the earliest known version of the story Cinderella.

P.E.

In our Games lessons we have been learning the skills of hockey. After learning how to dribble, shield and shoot the ball, we put this into practise by playing 5-a-side games.
