Hi everyone!

Welcome to our class transition page. So you can start preparing for returning to school in September, after the summer holidays, Miss Goodright and I have created two special videos. The first video is a tour of your new classroom and how it might look.

We hope you have fun trying to guess which book we will be using in our English lessons by looking at the clues in the video; a hi-vis jacket, hard hat, police uniform, handcuffs and some rope. What could the rope be used for?

Also, what could we be learning about in our science lessons? What could the name of the topic be? Take a close look at the clues we left out for you in the video; cereal, bread, jam, marmite, a banana, fruit squash and various other items.

For the second video, sit back and enjoy a story. Miss Goodright is reading a book called 'Dear Teacher'. It's a very funny book about a boy who writes a series of letters to his teacher explaining the reasons why he can't come back to school. He gives some very interesting excuses!

When you have finished watching the videos perhaps you would like to write us a letter explaining what you are looking forward to in Year 4. If you have any worries or questions then include these in your letter too. You can email your letters or post them to school.
