Value of the Week
Our value of the week is: Perseverance
'Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.' - Pele.
This week's value is perseverance - a very important character trait for you to be successful in life. It means determination at working hard regardless of any odds or obstacles that may exist. It is to insist and to be firm on getting something done and not giving up. Never has this been so true than during the coronavirus pandemic as we have all adjusted to a new way of life despite the challenges it has brought.
Ways to show perseverance could include:
Fitness Fun!
Try this: Fitness Fun with Miss Brewer!
For a number of weeks now, we have been inspired and motivated by Joe Wicks but now it's time to get up and get moving with Miss Brewer.
Try these activities at anytime during the day; in the morning to get you moving, the middle of the day to wake and shake you up or the afternoon to see you through to the end of the day.
We look forward to seeing your photos or videos of you joining in - please send them to homelearning@monks.org.uk
