Summer 2 - Extreme Earth
Welcome to Summer 2!
This term we are learning about natural disasters through the topic of Extreme Earth. The children will explore earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunami's, why they occur and how people might feel. This links to our English book of 'Survivors', where we will be creating poetry, writing our own short disaster story, and reporting on a local Earthquake!
Science- Classification
To begin our topic of Classification this half term, the children explored what classification meant. We used sweets as a collection of objects to classify, and the children worked in pairs to investigate the different characteristics and organise them into groups accordingly. The children worked very hard!
