Spring 2 Tudors & Shakespeare

Our class reader this half term is Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, which has been chosen to support the children's learning for the topic of The Tudors and to help them answer the question of 'If Romeo and Juliet had been supported by their community, would things have ended differently?' Throughout this topic, the children will learn about the different sovereigns that reigned during Tudor time, including Henry VIII and his six wives, Tudor life and also where this era fits within their understanding of other time periods.
