We took part in a 'Wax Workshop' that helped us better understand properties of materials, the process of solidifying and melting and reversible and irreversible reactions. We did this by burning a candle and investigating its deduction in weight over time; observing the melting of candle wax and pouring it into a mould to create a new candle and by making our own beeswax candles and beeswax wrappers.
