We have been learning to spell words with the ending 'ible' such as sensible, reversible, horrible, edible, responsible, terrible, visible, possible, legible and credible. We have been considering the dots and dash sounds in each of these words to help us spell them.

We have also looked at the root word before adding the ending 'ible' to become an adjective e.g. sense = sensible, response = responsible, reverse = reversible. Followed by how we can then add a prefix to the adjective to create irreversible, incredible, impossible, illegible, invisible, irreversible.
