Indoor learning

Weeks 5-7

In Maths, we have loved learning about 2d and 3d shapes. We love singing our 3d shapes song. Maybe you could try at home? We have loved writing about Beegu and thinking about how she might have been feeling in the story. We also have had the most amazing time doing our nativity - it has been really special to us and we hope all the grown ups enjoyed our Bethlehem Bake Off!

Weeks 3-4

We have loved learning about addition and subtraction in Maths. We have also enjoyed exploring our senses in Science, including using our senses to complete different tests. We were so lucky that lots of family members from our community came to join us on our senses stroll to Whiteleaf. We couldn't see the Gruffalo but we did some fantastic written pieces about our trip, all written accurately. In RE, we looked at how to care for our environment and made posters! In PSHE, we reminded ourselves of our class rules and how we can follow those.

Weeks 1 -2

We have thoroughly enjoyed our first two weeks back at school over the half term. We have started learning about number bonds in Maths and how two numbers can be added together to make a bigger number. We call that the total! We have started our new story, Super Duper You! in English and we've thoroughly enjoyed learning about adjectives and had lots of opportunities to practise using our Fred Fingers. In Science we've been exploring our senses and we're excited to learn about them in even more detail over the next few weeks.
