Robins Home learning

Dear parents and children,

Welcome to the Robins Home learning area. Each week I will upload a variety of activities for you to use with your child. These will also be uploaded to Tapestry so that you can choose where you access them.

Any learning videos that I make will only be accessed via Tapestry. These sometimes take a while to load due to increased activity on the site so please be patient!

I am aware that most of you are new to home learning and I would like to reassure you that you are doing a fantastic job whatever you are doing with your child! At their age everything has the potential to be a worthwhile learning experience, not everything has to be worksheet based!

Each week I will provide you with a Home learning overview with links to activities that you could watch and do with your child. Everyone's circumstances at home will be different at this time so I have endeavored to give you a variety of activities to choose from. I do not expect that all of it will be completed, especially if you are trying to work from home yourself! 

If time is tight then phonics and reading are the most important every day with a bit of writing and maths dotted throughout the week. 

The learning packs you collected are an extra if you need the children to sit down with something to do independently, and the blank notebooks are to record their work if you need to.

If you need anything to be printed out for you please let me know via the home learning email homelearning@monks.org.uk or via Tapestry and we can do this for you to collect.
