1 - Earth and Space
Autumn Term
This term we are exploring our Earth, and Space around us. We will explore the planets in the Solar System, and the History of the Space Race. We will discuss racism, gender discrimination and how it affected people's lives and opportunities. This will link into our Writing where we will use the book Hidden Figures to write an advert for NASA, a formal letter and a report of a Rocket Launch!
In Maths, we are recapping place value and extending our knowledge to include millions and ten millions. We will be using the formal method of addition and subtraction, and improving our problem solving skills with different styles of questions.
