In English this week we have analysed traditional Indian Folk Tales, and identified similarities to create our success criteria. We have then begun to plan our own. The first step of this was thinking about the characteristics of our antagonist and protagonist, and text-mapping the plot line!
We have since spent 3 lessons (!) writing and editing our Indian Folk Tales to ensure they are the best that they can be! We know that each tale has to contain a moral, and also tension with the problem. They are only short (another one of our success criteria) - but they are still amazing! Miss Dawes made us edit our Folk Tales using our purple pens.
