Parent Workshops

Retrieval and Memory Strategies - Tuesday 21st April 2026

 

Mrs Horton hosted a parent workshop on Retrieval and Memory Strategies. This shared information regarding the curriculum project she has been working on for the past four years, including staff training from Kate Jones, a teacher and author, who specializes in cognitive science and learning strategies.

SEND Workshop - Thursday 19th October 2026

 

Mr Mullen hosted a SEND workshop to share the strategies and interventions we use in class to support children with SEND, how we adapt teaching to support different learning styles ways to support communication, emotional regulation and independence and practical ideas and resources that can be used at home.
 

The next SEND workshop, based on Neuorodivergence, will take place on Thursday 30th April at 9am.
