World Book Day 2024! We have all had a wonderful time swapping books and listening to our secret readers!
Last month saw the completion of a project to install an all-weather safety surface to our play
equipment in school. This was only possible through the generous donations from The North West
Chilterns Community Board and The Princes Risborough Rotary Club as well as fundraising activities
amongst our school community.
The play surface is suitable for all weathers and has enabled the equipment to be used all year round
– even in the winter months! The children are delighted with the softer surface which means when
they take a tumble, they get a softer landing!
The school are particularly pleased to be working in partnership with JR Sports Group who run a
number of holiday clubs at our school. The improvement of facilities in school has supported them in
successfully applying to become a Buckinghamshire HAF (Holiday Activity and Food) provider,
enabling disadvantaged children to attend the clubs free of charge. Children attending the club will
be able to make use of the equipment therefore increasing their physical activity.
An amazing day and evening performing at the O2 in the Young Voices choir concert!
Reception enjoyed the day learning about teeth cleaning & going to the dentist!
Year 1 have been preparing for the Big Garden Birdwatch which takes place this weekend. Don't forget, it doesn't have to be a garden you can visit a local park to take part in this important survey.

Peter joined us on Tuesday for a worship about Saint Paul, who wrote letters. He spoke about how in the Bible, Colossians 3.12-17, the letters said:
As God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.
These matched with our value of Friendship.
The letters also said:
Let the teaching of Christ live inside you richly. Use all wisdom to teach and counsel each other…
Everything you say and everything you do should be done for Jesus your Lord. And in all you do, give thanks to God the Father through Jesus.
Charlie wore Peter's robe to signify clothing himself with compassion.
Samuel ate a banana to signify the teaching of Christ inside him.
