The Year 5s beat Radnage 8-0 on Tuesday 28th January. Unfortunately, the pitch was very slippery however, we powered through. Our defence was very strong with Steven, me (David) and Mark rotating on and off. Goals were scored by me (Josh), Brody, Kaiden, Mark and Elliot. Logan also did some very good saves!! Year 5 enjoyed the match.

Year 1 Icknield Care Home Visit
On Monday Year 1 went to the care home. We walked from here to Princes Risborough, when we arrived we were shown around by a lady called Max. Then we sat down and talked about games and old people playing them. Games are something to do for the old people so we played some games with them. I played dominoes with a lady called Sam and Bella I thing they enjoyed it (Abi). I brought a game from home called ‘Pop the Pig’ I played this with Sam, we had a time and I won most of the time (Louie). We all had a good time and then we walked back to school and we were a little bit late back!

History of Toys - Year 1
Toys day was on Friday. We got to play with toys. My favourite part was when we were making toys. By Luca
First, we sat down and Fiona told us all about toys from all sorts of different places and ages. I (Bella) liked the hula hoops and sewing and I (Frankie) liked it when we built things out of paper. We went round different tables to look and play with the toys. by Bella and Frankie
Yesterday, Thursday 9th January, a hearing dog came to visit us, called Jessie. Before she arrived we watched a video about the dogs from a puppy to grown up, through puppy school. She came with Darcie and Fiona, to start with she came to each of us and we were allowed to stroke her. Fiona is Jessie's trainer 'Jessie tells Fiona about hearing' Darcie gave us lots of information about hearing dogs and about Jessie and her helping people. Jessie wore a special jacket that said Learning and Hearing Dog. She came to worship with us. She was nice and quiet. Jessie lies down when a fire alarm goes off to tell her owner that it has gone off. If the door rings Jessie goes to her owner and nudges her leg and then goes back to the front door!
