Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Congratulations to all those who took part in the KS2 Cross Country and for winning the competition!
The Eco Team litter picking as part of the Great Big School Clean initiative along Peters Lane and the Risborough Rangers football field today.
Last night the netball team played against PRPS. We persevered throughout the match but unfortunately lost. Well done to Matilda who scored our only goal of the match!
We had a visit from two of our colleagues from Supply Desk Recruitment Agency yesterday. They offered some of their time through their company's Volunteering in the Community scheme to clear our garden pond. The area is now ready for Spring and for the children to enjoy a quiet place to sit. Asim and Daniel said they were so glad to give something back to the local school communities they serve.
We would love to hear from any of our parents or relatives who may have the opportunity through any similar Corporate or Employee Volunteering schemes. Even an hour can make a huge difference! Please contact the school office for more information.
Last week we celebrated World Book Week. We started off with Teresa Heapy, an author, visiting on Monday and she shared her writing process with all of us. Throughout the week we did lots of activities involving books and characters and even completed a quiz trying to guess the staff members favourite book. Each class got the chance to share stories with another class -some of us outside when it was sunny on Thursday! We also all enjoyed dressing up on Thursday for World Book Day and sharing our costumes in worship.
