Year 2 Visit to Maidenhead Synagogue
On Tuesday w went to the synagogue! first we got our coats on. We got on the coach it was along journey for me but finally we got there. There were big blue gates we went inside and met a nice lady. She showed us around. First she took us outside. There were books that turned into birds we went back in the synagogue. She showed us something it looked like a shawl but it is something you wear to a synagogue it is called a Tallit you wear a kippa with it. she took us in the actual synagogue, she told us a lot of stuff. Finally we got back on the coach we were late for lunch. By Ada
First we got on the coach and went to the synagogue. We had a tour outside and we looked at the doves. We went inside and took a look at the rainbow inside. We went in a another room and took a look at the Ark and the Torah Scroll in the Ark. We were talking about the Shabbat that it is on Sunday. Me and Samuel dressed up like Jewish Children. After that we looked at the Lego synagogue. Finally we had biscuits and water or juice. By Janae
