Monks Risborough CE Primary School

Year 2 had a wonderful day at Whipsnade Zoo on Wednesday.

First, we got on a coach and finally we got there.  Then we spent time looking for the Africa bit with lions and meerkats.  Next, we finally found the African part and there were giraffes and lions.  After we ate our lunch.  Finally, we saw the butterflies, one of the butterflies fell upside down and went on Emelia's shoulder.

First we got on the coach.  On the coach after a while I was getting sleepy already.  When we arrived at the zoo we tried to get to the lions first.  Then we saw the meerkat.  They were the cutest things I have ever seen.  They were all scampering about like cute puppies.  Next we had lunch and people kept dropping the food!  Then we went to see the hippos.  They kept sticking their bottoms out at us!  After that we went to see the cheetahs, we only saw one.  Finally we went to the butterfly room it was too hot.
