On Friday 16th January, Year 4 from breaktime until lunchtime we went tree planting with Chiltern Rangers, in our school field. There were two types of trees not spikey and spikey such as Oak, Blackthorne and Rowan. Some volunteers and the rangers dug the holes and we put the soil back once the little trees were in. If the tree roots were too big we had to make the holes bigger with our shovels, then we put bark around the base of the trees. The trees will be fenced off with deer fencing to protect them.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful parent volunteers who gave up their time and helped us. We couldn't have done it without you!
