On Tuesday 13th January, we walked up to Whiteleaf Cross to scrub-bash with Chiltern Rangers. Our conservation work, we learnt, is important to help return the chalk grassland site at Whiteleaf Cross to its original state. Our job was to scrub-bash which involved using loppers to cut down plant species that were growing on the grassland that were not native to the environment. We enjoyed a celebratory hot chocolate afterwards for all our hard work!
