Year 6 Football Competition

A massive well done to our Year 6 boys football team who came desperately close to beating Longwick. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Monks came out fighting in the second half. Despite almost finding an equaliser on two occasions, Monks found themselves 3-0 down. But two quick goals from Lucas Hunter and Jake Gibbs turned the game on its head. Pushing forward for the equaliser left the team exposed at the back and Longwick found the killer goal to win 4-2. Great game Monks. Looking forward to the next one!
