Artsweek

We had a fantastic Arts week celebrating 'Colours and Lines' through art and music. Our theme colour was 'blue'!

 

We learnt about Pablo Picasso and in particular his 'blue period' and then created our own Picasso collage inspired artwork. 

 

We also listened to some 'blue' themed music: 'Rhapsody in Blue' by Gershwin, 'Night Ferry' by Anna Clyne and 'Handel's Water Music' in order to create our own 'Sound of Blue'.  

 

We welcomed a visiting guitarist into school to inspire us!
