Extra curricular activities are a significant part of school life at Monks Risborough. Children are encouraged to take part in a wide range of clubs before and after school. Monks Risborough is well regarded for providing children with opportunities to compete against children from other schools.  The exceptional musical opportunities extend to children playing instruments on a weekly basis during worship, as well as performing at leading venues around the country, such as Wembley Arena.

Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing and a drink depending on the club they are taking part in. Please collect your child promptly, from the Peter's Lane gate at the allocated time. If you have any spare vegetable seeds or seedlings for Gardening club, all donations would be gratefully received. The numbers for this club will be limited so will be allocated on a first come first serve basis .

Thursday - KS2 Choir - Year 3, 4, 5 & 6 finishes at 4.15pm - Mrs Chadwick-Cooper

We are delighted to be continuing our popular and fun sessions through the Autumn Term of our 2025/26 year at Monks Risborough School. These sessions will begin w/c 4th September 2025. We are using a new booking system for our clubs which allows for more efficiency and more payment flexibility.

PAYMENT

We offer a free 1 session trial for any children who would like to try the sports clubs out. The cost is £7 per week. If paying the full amount in one go causes any sort of problem, please get in contact and we are more than happy to take weekly payments.

EQUIPMENT

● Any type of sports clothing – including PE kit

● Football Boots/ Trainers & Shin guards (Advisable for Football)

​If you would like to run a lunchtime club please speak to me, we are always grateful to people offering to extend the opportunities provided for your children.
If the club has to be cancelled for any reason we will contact you via our Monks School App/ReachMoreParents. It is essential you notify the school office if your child is unable to attend an after school club, on any particular week.  At the end of the club parents are expected to collect their child from the club leader to ensure they have left safely.
