Light & Dark
This half term our main topic is 'Light and Dark.' Our focus question is science-based and the children will learn facts about light and dark, how light travels, how darkness is the absence of light and the associated vocabulary.
Thinking about our value of responsibility we are going to answer the question, 'Do we need to be grateful for light?'
We are going to focus on two fantastic texts this term: Lights on Cotton Rock by David Litchfield and The Iron Man by Ted Hughes.
