            Value of the Week

Our value of the week is: Perseverance

'Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.' - Pele.

This week's value is perseverance - a very important character trait for you to be successful in life. It means determination at working hard regardless of any odds or obstacles that may exist. It is to insist and to be firm on getting something done and not giving up. Never has this been so true than during the coronavirus pandemic as we have all adjusted to a new way of life despite the challenges it has brought.

Ways to show perseverance could include:

            • Learning to tie your shoelaces,
            • Completing a jigsaw puzzle,
            • Learning how to solve a maths problem,
            • Learning something new e.g. rollerskating, riding a bike, skateboarding.
